Founding Story
The journey began in 2011 when Adam Bensman sat down in his very first interview with a roofing company. Within a short twenty minutes, the company who wanted to hire Adam began boasting about their “clever” business practices that were outright fraudulent. Adam quickly realized the level of corruption in the roofing and solar industry.
Even after Adam aligned himself with a value-driven organization, he was ashamed to tell people he worked in roofing for fear of being lumped into “one of the bad guys.” Over the next decade, Adam Bensman set out on a mission to transform the industry which was only made possible by aligning with like-minded souls…

This pledge encapsulates a shared vision that transcends individual roles and responsibilities, uniting us in a common purpose to not only meet but exceed the expectations of our clients, partners, and the communities we serve.

Mistakes are bound to happen in the field of construction, but it’s how they are handled that show our true values. Any Pledging Member who does not uphold the values set forth in our pledge can be kicked out of the Roofing & Solar Reform Alliance and denied re-entry.
